Roof Protection Plan Agreement

By enrolling in a Ron Bell Roofing Roof Protection Plan, you agree to the terms and disclosures on this page. Please read them in full before you enroll.

Plans and Billing

Two plans are available to our past customers: the Complete Roof Protection and Maintenance Plan at $400 per year, and the Post-Hurricane Protection Plan at $250 per year. Plans are billed yearly and renew annually until cancelled. We recommend enrolling before hurricane season so the annual inspection can be scheduled promptly.

Program Disclosures

  • Automatic post-hurricane inspections do not require a customer request; however, inspection timing is determined by Ron Bell Roofing based on safety, weather conditions, accessibility, and operational capacity.
  • Priority scheduling provides enrolled customers with scheduling preference over non-members but does not guarantee immediate inspection or repair services.
  • Inspection reports are provided for documentation purposes only and do not guarantee insurance coverage, claim approval, or payment.
  • Minor maintenance is limited to the repair or replacement of up to five accessible roofing tiles or shingles using customer-supplied matching materials. Any additional repairs will be quoted separately.
  • Gutter cleaning includes removal of normal debris only and does not include repairs or replacement of gutters, drainage systems, or related components.
  • Inspections are visual, non-invasive evaluations and do not include concealed, latent, or inaccessible conditions.

Storm Damage and Insurance

Storm-related damage is not covered under your roof warranty. Hurricane damage is typically covered by homeowners' insurance. Inspection reports are provided for documentation only and do not guarantee coverage or payment.

Refunds

Annual plan fees are non-refundable once the plan year has begun, except where required by law. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current plan year.

Plan Disclosure

Hurricane Protection Plan Disclosure

These plans are roof inspection and maintenance service agreements. They are not insurance policies, roof warranties, emergency-response guarantees, or guarantees that your roof will withstand a hurricane or other severe weather event . Storm-related damage, including damage caused by hurricanes, tropical storms, tornadoes, wind, rain, flooding, falling objects, or other acts of nature, is not covered under a standard roof workmanship or manufacturer warranty. Such damage may be covered by your homeowners' insurance policy, subject to your policy's terms, exclusions, deductible, and the insurance carrier's evaluation. Inspection reports, photographs, maintenance records, and other documentation provided under these plans may help document the condition of the roof before or after a storm. However, we do not guarantee that an insurance carrier will approve or pay any claim . Coverage and claim decisions are made exclusively by the insurance carrier. We are not public adjusters and do not negotiate, settle, or interpret insurance claims on behalf of property owners.

Post-Hurricane Inspections

Automatic post-hurricane inspections apply when a hurricane or qualifying storm affects the property's service area, as reasonably determined by the company. Inspections will be scheduled as soon as reasonably possible based on weather conditions, government restrictions, road access, property accessibility, employee safety, and the volume of affected customers. "Immediate inspection" means priority inspection after conditions are safe and access is available. It does not guarantee same-day or next-day service. Customers enrolled before the storm will receive priority over non-plan customers, but specific inspection or repair dates are not guaranteed. The property owner must provide safe and reasonable access to the property. Inspections may be performed from the roof, ground, ladder, attic, drone, or another appropriate method, depending on site conditions and safety considerations. Some damage may be concealed or not visible during a visual inspection.

Repairs and Additional Work

The annual membership fee does not include storm-related repairs, emergency tarping, replacement materials, permit fees, engineering, testing, interior repairs, mold remediation, or full roof replacement unless specifically stated in writing. Any recommended repairs will require a separate proposal and customer authorization. Priority scheduling provides members with preferred placement in the company's repair schedule. It does not guarantee immediate repair service, material availability, insurance approval, or completion within a specific timeframe.

Complete Roof Protection & Maintenance Plan

The annual pre-season inspection is a visual assessment of accessible roof components and is not a structural, engineering, code-compliance, mold, or insurance inspection. Debris removal is limited to normal, safely removable debris located on accessible roof surfaces. It does not include excessive accumulation, hazardous materials, animal waste, pressure washing, tree trimming, removal of attached vegetation, or conditions requiring specialized labor or equipment. Gutter and downspout service is limited to clearing normal, accessible debris. It does not include gutter repairs, replacement, underground drainage cleaning, removal of hardened material, or correction of improper drainage or installation. Minor maintenance is limited to the repair or replacement of a combined maximum of five accessible roof tiles or shingles during the annual service visit. The customer must provide matching and compatible materials. Repairs are subject to the existing roof condition, safe accessibility, and the company's determination that the work can be completed without causing additional damage. The service does not include discontinued materials, custom fabrication, structural repairs, rotten wood, underlayment replacement, flashing replacement, leak investigation, or repairs requiring permits or extensive labor. Unused maintenance services or material allowances do not roll over, accumulate, or provide a credit or refund. Membership and Renewal Plans are billed annually and automatically renew each year using the payment method on file unless canceled in accordance with the applicable membership terms. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not necessarily provide a refund for the current membership period or services already performed. Enrollment is subject to property location, roof type, roof condition, service-area availability, and acceptance by the company. Pre-existing damage and conditions identified before enrollment are not included as complimentary repairs and may require separate corrective work. Plan benefits apply only to the enrolled property and are not transferable unless approved in writing by Ron Bell Roofing LLC. Additional terms, exclusions, and service limitations may apply.
